What is Movement Therapy?
Personal Training, Physiotherapy and Online Coaching
Movement Therapy is an approach to physical training that addresses all forms of physicality, by utilising a multidisciplinary approach to the human body.
What does this mean?
Well, by using the methods I outline via my training programs and consultations, I prescribe my clients numerous exercises originating from many different physical disciplines of training.
By utilising the physical benefits of different types of training such as weightlifting, physiotherapy, body building, yoga etc, I have developed a comprehensive approach to training the body that addresses as many of the physiological issues experienced by humans in the 21st century as possible.
For more information on this, see both Mobility in the 21st Century and The Silver Method.
By incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to the body, I help my clients address numerous issues such as;
Mobility Issues (Ankles, Hips, Thoracic Spine, Gleno-humeral)
Stability Issues (Ankles, Knee,
Lumbar Spine, Scapula)
Strength
Muscle Development
Weight-loss
Osteoporosis / Arthritis
Prenatal & Postnatal Training
Joint Replacement / Surgery - Prehab & Rehab (Hip/Knee/Elbow)
Walking Gait / Flat Feet / Collapsed Arches
Confidence
Alongside many other issues.

Welcome to the Movement. Welcome to Movement Therapy.
Hello, my name is Simon Griffin.
I have over 15 years of physical training experience, which has consisted of everything from yoga & calisthenics, to body building & olympic weightlifting.
I have always enjoyed my physicality and being active, but naturally I got bored of these methods of training once I hit the point of diminished return in each discipline.
So I branched out, with each branch leading me down a further path of physical challenges and knowledge.
However, by experiencing so many different forms of physical training, I have been able to formulate my own approach to physical training, namely Movement Therapy.
Movement Therapy is a holistic, grounded and above all, individualised approach to training that engages with physicality from all directions and disciplines. For more about my thoughts on this, have a read of my ethos; The Silver Method.
